Alex here, filling in for Lindsay. We had a fantastic day with the girls yesterday. The novelty had worn off a bit so they were less jumpy and quite manageable inside. Outside, Maxi and Sophia terrorized the critters that dared trespass on their turf, but they were good about listening when it was time to come in. They’re very attuned to the fact that cookies happen any time they do a good job of listening, so they’re easy to negotiate with. Penny is just a doll on our walks and we took advantage of the sunshine and flowers to pose for a few portraits. We ranged all over the neighborhood, so everyone could see how pretty she is. We remembered to freeze the dinners after serving breakfast, so the girls got to enjoy a delicious cold treat. They took their time and cleaned every morsel. Living on cookies and frozen dinners reminds me of my bachelor days, but for these girls it’s the definition of refined.
