Neighborhood Gossip

After a very… vigorous… encounter with the neighborhood Yorkie I kept Mugs close to me for awhile. He didn’t seem to mind too much, sauntering right along in the cool morning, the wet grass squishing between his toes. 🥰 He stopped frequently to sniff the air and stare off at houses on the hill. And I wondered if he knew a lot more about what happens in those houses than we do. If he can smell that a family barbequed rich meat last night. Or that someone’s diaper pail is full but their wine bottle is empty. Or if someone smells a lot more like their friend than their mate. I think Mugs knows all, but if he does, he’s not sharing with me. He’s not one to gossip. 😉
