Why it matters

What pets need while you’re away

Body

Pets run on a schedule. Feeding a cat at the same times each day gives it security and a routine.1 Meals, meds, water and a clean litter box can’t wait until you’re home. Cats also hide when they’re sick - it’s an old survival instinct.2 A daily visit means someone notices when something is off.

Mind

1 in 3cats found boarding more stressful.3

For most pets, home is the calmest place to be. In a study of boarding catteries, about one cat in three found boarding more stressful.3 Dogs with steady routines tend to have less stress and anxiety, too.4 A sitter keeps your pet in its own bed, with its own smells and its own schedule.

Questions

Pet-sitting FAQ

Visits or an overnight - which do I need?

Visits are 15 to 90 minutes, once or more a day. They suit pets who are fine on their own between meals. An overnight means a Pro stays from evening to morning, so bedtime and wake-up stay the same.

What does a visit look like?

Every visit ends with a love note full of photos. See for yourself: Good Morning My Sweet Friends! (32 photos), Until Next Time You Silly Kitties!! (27 photos), Catnip Anyone! (23 photos).

What about overnights?

Same love notes, all night long. See some: This Is The Life (36 photos), Happy New Ear! (27 photos), Keeping Us On Our Toes! (27 photos).

Can I book a visit every day?

Yes. When you book, turn on repeat and book all your visits at once.
