Millie and I like to change up our route every now again on our walk especially when it’s rainy. We take the less muddy path and avoid the puddles. On this particular route there is this area where people decide to discard there left overs on the side of the road. Once it was a turkey sub, another time it was a banana and yesterday it was a little piece of steak! She is really good about not eating it when I ask her to leave it but that pesky steak was camouflaged. It wasn’t until I saw something in her mouth that I retrieved it and tossed it away. Today I completely forgot about that steak and would’t you know as soon as we approached that area she went straight for it. I quickly remembered and steered her away from it and gave her a tasty dog treat instead. She didn’t seem to mind! Somebody doesn’t like their food around here and definitely likes to litter🤦🐶
