We worked the basics today again. Settling when we meet, waiting for release to go out the door, and heel. He was more used to the routine and was less hesitant and wanted to be more independent. When he was good, which was often, he got to explore a but. Otherwise he had to stay close, match speed, and not wander. When we got to the turnaround point we did a little photo and play session. 🥰 Work hard, play hard, right? But on the way back Jasper must have been playing a trick on me because every few moments he would stop and look back like something was following us. This if course made me look back, nothing every time. He did this the whole way back and I’m starting to think he found his own way of making me heel! 😂
