I don’t ask much of mugs on our walks except to stick close to me and behave when other dogs are around. Today he was feisty, but still very good about behaving when we passed other dogs. So the rest of the time he had the run of the leash and he got to sniff and explore all around the neighborhood including every cul-de-sac. He was so energetic that we finished our loop a little early 😊 I wanted to go past the house and circle the other cul-de-sac, but once mugs saw that we weren’t going inside, he was having none of it. He made it as far as the corner, and then sat down right under the stop sign. The sign says stop, Alex , he said. And of course I couldn’t argue with that logic. We used the spare time well, playing inside and getting cookies. 🥰
