We were missing out friends Blue and Iris and were so thrilled to have them visit with us this weekend! They took no time to get settled and make themselves at home on Friday afternoon! Within minutes Iris had claimed all the best toys from the toy box while Blue claimed his favorite spot in front of the porch door window so he could see all the action outside! They had so much fun on our walk around the common, they were happy to sniff all their favorite spots again! When it was time for bed we all snuggled up for some silly TV and fell fast asleep in anticipation of what Saturday had in store!! Though Saturday was rainy and cold, it didn’t stop us from having some fun adventures and zoomies in the yard. We also had plenty of inside playtime, wrestling and lots of snuggles! It was the perfect rainy Saturday afternoon! When the sun finally made an appearance we had an epic game of fetch with sticks! Iris zoomed around while Blue soared through the air to catch them and then we had a nice long walk to explore. They woke up bright eyed and waggy tailed this morning probably in anticipation that later this afternoon they head back home. So we are going to make the most out of our Sunday Funday. Not sure what we have planned but if Blue and Iris have anything to say about it, it will be lots of playtime and snuggles with a side of sillies!
