Sammy greeted me eagerly this morning, full of vigor and energy. I was surprised, expecting him to be exhausted from the last couple of days. Instead he hungerly munched some kibble, skipped his wet food, and pranced to go out. After he did his business said hello to Frenchie and walked around. But Sammy was eager to stretch his legs so we jogged part of the way. When we got home he seemed ready to go in the car and was disappointed when we didn’t he got a cookie but was not happy when I left and let me know it. I promised him we would do something fun at lunch time and left it at that.
