Not all cats are vocal, but Lucy talks all the time. This morning when I got there she wasn’t just talking, she was singing! Meow, meow, meow… MEOW! I could almost recognize the tune. 😂 She chose her breakfast and ate it right up. Then we played for a bit. She hasn’t been very playful until now, but when she caught her toy this time, she attacked it like a real hunter. I told her it was going to be VERY hot today and entreated her to stay in, but M-E-O-W she sang back to me in her best Aretha impression. So, I respected her wishes and let her out, but I put out a bowl with water for her, and will head over pretty early to let her in. Maybe she’ll do an encore?
