A mild heart attack

Cecile nearly sent us into a panic this morning because when we showed up she was nowhere to be found. We checked all the rooms – not a peep. We went about cleaning her litter, giving her food, freshening all her waters – nothing. We knew we couldn’t leave without finding her and making sure she was alright, so we proceeded to play her game of hide and seek, checking every closet, under every bed. I finally sat down on the couch in the living room to scratch my head and think about what to do next when I looked up and spied a furry face peering down sleepily from the cat tower. We found her! Since she seemed no worse for wear, we played with her for awhile, but she seemed intent on going back to sleep and dismissed us like the royalty she is. We left, but not before admonishing her to never worry us like that again!
