Rocky was waiting for me when I arrived today and stayed visible – I think he enjoyed watching me look high and low for your note, which I eventually found on the floor under a bar stool…almost as if he knew it was there all along 🤔🤭
I spotted Lily in a tabby flash 🐈 💨 when I first said hello to her in the living room and she decided that was just too much peopling, and headed downstairs. Next I searched for Charlotte, who I eventually figured out was the conspicuous cat-shaped lump under your bedspread. She eventually joined her counterpart below stairs and I found them snuggled behind the washing machine – not interested in eating at that time.
In any case, by the time I returned a hour later, Rocky had finished his dinner and one of the girls had eaten some of the dry on the dresser. But now the dry is on the floor for anyone to enjoy throughout the night and everyone is snug inside while we wait for the coming nor-‘Easter…
