Apollo was more interested in couch cuddles than a walk today. No matter how much he got he wanted more, but with some prompting he agreed to head out. We tried out a harnesses based on the same design as his leash. He seemed to want to test how it would handle him putting the breaks on. But he never got the chance. We never wandered farther than the leash allowed. And when he didn’t feel like moving, patience and treats worked much better than pulling. I was happy to let him pick our direction and he never got farther away than the leash permitted. He was slow and languid until a jogger passed by. Then like a kid, Apollo wanted to play jogger too and picked up the pace. 🥰 Neither of us could keep it up for long and we teased each other about not being as young as we used to. Fortunately there was a plethora of flowers and mushrooms to check out, which kept us busy until we got home. 😊
