Julian did seem a little bit mellower today but that dude is so mellow to begin with it’s pretty hard to tell. We moseyed like we normally do, to the circle at the end of the street. That’s where the mellow ended. Julian spied 2 dogs approaching and wanted very much to investigate. We were turning around but he refused to budge. He INSISTED we wait for them, getting more and more excited at the prospect. I decided it would be better to avoid the greeting and keep things calm and moved us gently on our way. But I did note that Julian didn’t bark, growl, or lunge. He wanted to sit and wait, which is exactly what we’ve been teaching him to do. I’m hoping this bodes well for what it might mean when Julian is just being Julian. 🥰
