With all the excellent instructions and preparations, settling in with the girls felt like second nature. They’re pretty well behaved when it’s just us. They jumped at first and we quickly established I absolutely don’t play that, so they found other ways to beg for treats and attention. I love how Sophia is the dignified one of the crew, while Maxine and Penny are such fast friends, always together. They are very well behaved and are eating well. They are sweet, loving, and so fun. 🥰 Penny loves her walks, and the long leash that lets her go in private. Last night, after the girls were in their crates and secure, Penny came, hesitantly to snuggle with us on the bed and stayed there all night!
They have been so very sweet to us, but that’s because I’m not a baby bunny. They found a couple in the garden, sitting on just the other side of the garden wire. I’ll spare you the gory details but one bunny did not survive. 😭 This morning Sophia cornered a critter near the front stairs. She and Maxine chased it back and forth until I made them go inside. I don’t approve, but I surely understand that’s how dogs are. Alex says, professional pet-sitting includes cleaning, so like Ray Donovan, or Mr. Wolfe in Pulp Fiction, he’ll be their “cleaner.” It’ll be like it never happened, and they won’t get in any trouble. 😁😂
