House-sitting this crew was absolutely amazing because they play hard and rest hard! 😆 Fred with his stubborn insistence but with a tail that wags like a puppy. Lefty with her superspeed and supersnuggle powers. And of course, Rio, of the lolling tongue, defensive tackles, and bashful nibbling. They made me feel so welcome and so loved. And omg are they fun to play with in a back yard that’s more like a pastoral retreat. But dogs love easily. It was much more meaningful that Taki took to me. He was quite hesitant when we first met. They kept to the corners while the dogs were out but as I was leaving they took a minute to enjoy some sunshine together. 🥰 I had given everyone treats before I left but seeing that I just had to go back and give everyone treats again. The first was a thank you. The second was a bribe to ask for me again. 😆
