There’s an old Russian book called Twelve Chairs about a con man and a pensioner looking for treasure inside the lining of one in a set of dining room chairs. And whenever they think they found one, they rip open the lining and toss the innards all around. So imagine my surprise when I arrived right at 7 to find it looking like a scene right out of that book. 😲 And imagine my further surprise when the two SIBERIANS insisted that’s exactly what happened! 😆 Fortunately by the time I had finished making them breakfast they had swept and vacuumed. There was nothing more to investigate and no reason to doubt them. Together with the delicious snickerdoodles you kindly left, it was I who got cookies and storytime! 🥰 Thank you so much!
