We always talk about how much we love our clients , but seldom about how painful that is when we lose one of them. Lucy was a beautiful 13-year-old white Westie who had lived with awesome parents and brother and sister cats. We had known Lucy for less than a year, but it only took a day or two for her to become part of our heart. She was always very friendly and playful with us, and she ran the house, keeping her brother and sister in line. She loved her walks and to linger in her favorite spots to sniff out the latest news, but mostly she loved rolling in the grass. And when the mood struck her, Lucy loved to pose for pictures. Her parents have framed photos of her hanging all over their walls. Lucy’s health deteriorated rapidly over the last few months, and despite many visits to Tufts she succumbed to her illness, peacefully, on 8/4/2022. Lucy leaves behind brother and sister Buddy and Delilah, and two heartbroken parents.
