I’m always acutely aware of just how much slower I am than Koda, so I was excited to try out a new longer lead that would give her a little more room to maneuver. And because she’s so well behaved these days I opted for a harness instead of the pinch collar. It took her a minute to realize she had more freedom than before. She could sniff a spot longer while I walked on. She could take a few more running steps before she ran out of room. She loved it! And though she nearly mauled my face when she reared up to thank me, I think we’ll keep this setup. We’ll just work on keeping all 4 paws on the ground! 🥰
