Riley and bones were really very good today. They were full of exuberance as I put on their harnesses and we headed out for our walk. I needed to hold them back a little at the beginning but we soon fell into step and made our way to the top of the big hill. They took a breather and watch the butterflies as a rested in the grass. On the way back they were again doing very well so I rewarded them with a little walk into the brook. I wiped them down before going into the house and then once again when we got there. They drank a whole lot of water and I gave them a few treats before I headed out.
