We wanted to walk in the park today but by the time we were on our way the drizzle made me think twice. Fortunately, I remembered the Brookfield Common and the gazebo there. I thought that might be a good, safe place to hang out and be near the car in case things got really wet. Fortunately the skies held together for us, and Henry and Krypto were very excited to explore every inch of the huge grassy area. I certainly didn’t mind checking out the historic monuments or just taking in the pretty morning in a pretty town. It turned out to be a better walk than I expected, wetter than I expected too. But I guess that’s what happens when you send boys to the park to play. They get wet and muddy!
