Maxwell was so excited to go for a ride after our lap around the yard. He only needed one “ sit “ in the car since he slowly made his face up to my ear 😂 the parking lot was packed but that didn’t stop Maxwell from using his manners to get out of car .
He sniffed around and could tell he was getting a little nervous but still maintaining a “this is cool “ vibe .
I had him sit so I could pet him as he watched the people – he did great..until a young man was fixing a handicap sign with a screw gun .
The noise panicked Maxwell and he would have jumped in the nearest car if possible .
Amidst the panic he was still listening and he sat so I could pet him again so he could get use to the noise .
He settled in and we made our way closer to the “ scary sign guy “ , Maxwell began to relax and embrace alll the new smells.
We made our way in front of store and he slowly showed his dogfidence!
Maxwell was definitely ready to go back to his comfy zone. All and all it was a wonderful first trip out !
He drank water & ate when we got back.
