With Tucker visiting today I wanted to give Jameson a chance to say hi to his buddy, but dogs are not punctual. By the time we were ready to go it was quite late and very very hot. I thought to use that to my advantage. We went for a short walk to let Jameson take care of business and sweat off some energy. Then into the cool car for some shopping at Tractor Supply. Now Jameson had to stay close and follow, which he did admirably despite lots of distractions. Of course he drew the attention of many people who wanted to say hello and marvel at his handsomeness. He still has little regard for his size or others’ personal space… which made me realize I should ask you how you want him to behave when he meets strangers, and what he should do when they want to pet him or say hello. I want to make sure I’m mirroring your expectations and not confusing him. After picking up (and maybe sampling… 😊) some treats we headed back here and Tucker was finally ready for us! Despite already being pretty tired Jameson was very excited and wanted to play rough right away. Tucker was happy to see Jameson but he was even more pooped from the heat. Within minutes the 2 of them were casually walking and sniffing in the shade of the common. And then it hit me that they were just being cool… 😎 😂
