At high noon the heat was yucky, and we did our best to beat it. We tried the back yard, but felt like we needed to move. We walked to the boat ramp but that offered scant relief, and the water looked a little oily. Even a walk in the shade to the camp didn’t do it. Then we remember led Mom left them cookies when we got back, and suddenly just like that, they were not dragging at all… 😂🥰
