Riley and Bones were excited for my visit and both did well at letting me get them into their harnesses. I worked at slowing them down a little bit more today as they seem to be happy to be outside. Once we got going they settled down to a good pace and just took advantage of our stops along the way for them to sniff and check for butterflies. We took a short break at the top of the hill and Bones was happy to lie down in the shade . They followed my leads and I used the bungee to to get them back in sync. I did take them down by the river and let them get their feet in the water and take a drink but I use my towel to wipe their feet off well before going into the house. Overall a fun structured walk with the dogs this morning.
