Bagel was sorta down today right from the start, and I had hoped a visit from Pippa would cheer her up. But Bagel’s funk wouldn’t break and she kept back while Pippa and I walked close together. We had the inner circle and she wanted the outer one. But eventually Pippa’s inexhaustible joy lifted her spirits. They stopped and investigated some playful waves by the water and seemed to feel better. She decided Pippa was cool after all and the 2 of them played all the way home.
