I love rides and town commons as much as my doggie friend Maxwell, it seems 😆 He loves the variety of trees and posts, the myriad smells, the distant traffic and occasional passerby. And I love the scenery and historic buildings, especially to take photos by! 📸 I expected that we would spend most of our time working on manners and behavior, but Maxwell was cool, calm, and downright leisurely. He had a long leash and it was enough that he rarely if ever pulled. He was pretty good about not crossing the street without an adult, and he was curious but respectful around other people. Trucks and traffic freaked him out a bit, but then there were flowers and bushes and it was all forgotten. What a perfect way to catch up with an old pal!
