The Social Club gang was thrilled to get their own holiday get-together. Like us, they started off by excitedly greeting each other and catching up on news. Then they got right down to the feast – fresh sharp grass with sprinkles of fresh flurries. They stopped and grazed like a herd of cows for a good long while. But unlike humans who get sleepy after turkey, these kids got energized and decided to play after their meal. There was football, tag, and the occasional merry dance. At the end of it all they say around and lounged. In an unexpected moment of sweetness Packer gave everyone hugs before we left. There’s always many things to be thankful for, but for these lucky dogs, their friends are one more.
