You would think she’s trying to fly, to see how Koda’s ears flap when she’s running. And today, on a very fresh trail of powder with nobody around, there was a lot of running. We started out normally with sniffing and checking things out, but by the time we turned around her poor little paws were freezing! And of course the best way to keep them off the ground is to… RUN! It was a struggle to stay on my feet with all her pulling but with my fingertips tingling in my gloves, all I could do was try to hurry and not slow her down. I did note that even 6 months ago she would have pulled much harder and turned me into a human snowball trailing behind her, so I was very impressed by her self-control. We warmed up inside with a cookie and she was fine!
