Hamish was a little unsure and shy at first when he arrived last night but I reassured him this is a fun place! So after he settled in, I slept on the couch next to him so he wouldn’t feel alone on his first night. Fast forward to today…We both woke up bright eyed and waggy tailed and excited for what may be in store for is today! So we had breakfast and off to explore the neighborhood we went! He loved the Common’s open space to run around, just like home and then we ventured down to Hobbs Brook where the crickets and birds were a little too much so early in the morning so he took in the sights real quick, barked and back home we went! We played with so many toys and had some awesome games of fetch and tug o war too! Then nap time before Alex and I surprised him with a field trip to Brimfield to have a playdate with Sophie! Hamish showed his true 8mo puppy energy and Sophie was thrilled to witness and play with such an adorable little Tasmanian devil! When we got back from the playdate, he had a snack and took a much needed puppy nap for a few hours before that tail got waggin and more playtime was had! I have to say for his first day, it was a fun one!
