It was very cold and very slippery today making a structured walk impractical. Jasper got the long leash because the slightest tug could cause me to go tumbling. Fortunately he was considerate enough to take up no more space than he had, so no pulling. 🥰 With a slightly shorter walk we took the opportunity to work on “place.” He started off willful, but he’s so smart and so loves to be rewarded, he very quickly caught on. After the walk we practiced again and again, with visible improvements every time. I think this is very trainable if we can maintain consistency. 😊
