It was very hot and humid, even for our early walk, and even though the kids were glad to see each other, they quickly turned grumpy. Why did the mail-carrier only give us 2 cookies instead of 3? Why do those kids get to ride in a Power Wheels and we don’t! Bagel in particular wanted to drive 😂 Why can’t Pippa say hello? Why is the boat launch so far away? But by the time we got to the water and they had a chance to refresh a little their moods lifted and we had a much more agreeable walk back. but they way they looked at that Power Wheels, I’d make sure you don’t leave the keys in yours…
