The girls were in a great mood. Even Buddy seemed tolerant when I said hello. 😊 We headed out our usual way, but there was so much more traffic than on weekdays! A person with a dog approached us on the other side of the road. The girls sat patiently waiting for them to pass, but right as they got close, Ivy couldn’t help herself from barking and lunging like crazy, both at the dog and at Olive… 😔 There was more darting and lunging later in the walk, but this was after birds and squirrels. Ivy said the squirrel was rude, and I agreed. We were pretty sweaty and tired by the time we were back to their home street, but just before we got there, there was a long parade of Harley riders passing by. The girls watched intently, turning their heads this way and that as each loud motorcycle passed. They didn’t budge or make a sound, just watched back and forth, back and forth. They were mesmerized until the last of them disappeared. They settled down with a treat as I was leaving. Pretty tired, they will sleep for sure. I bet they will dream of chasing those motorcycles…
