I took Jameson to meet our friend Bailey in the hopes of seeing something like his very mellow approach to Millie. And while there was a bit more patience and self-control, eventually up came the paw and then… Bailey wasn’t exactly unwilling, and that may have been why Jameson was having so much trouble containing himself. He of course settled down after awhile, but by then she was headed inside. We ended up walking down my street a bit and practiced our manners while I took pictures. I’ve been focusing on the high level thinking with Jameson, but it’s clear he needs more conditioning too. Fortunately, there’s no shortage of beautiful days or picturesque spots or fun dogs willing to hang out. By the end of summer he will be a different dog.
