With the weather outside cold and wet, neither of us wanted to be in the rain longer than necessary. So we decided to play inside! I got Julian some fresh water, and while I was doing that he brought me a tennis ball he wanted to play with. We played catch awhile and then settled in for some story time. Julian liked the story right until the part where the brave dog hero had to wait patiently for the treat in front of him. The story had a happy ending and Julian settled in for a nice nap as I was leaving.
