Learning to settle down

My visits are mostly playing with Milo, throwing a stick or playing tug or telling him to stop barking. But he’s a very needy kid. Meme on the other hand is pretty happy playing with Milo or hanging out independently. Today she spent most of her time casually snacking on grass. There are 3 cookie breaks during recess. A chance for them to stop what they’re doing and wind down for a moment. They love them, and it helps me keep them from getting too jumpy. They’re dangerous when they jump, with their meatball heads. Meme is learning to love getting pet and scratched and is learning that staying on the ground is the only was she gets that.
