Today the girls showed off their individuality. They were both great on the leash of course, which is why we can brave crossing the causeway. But on our favorite street tour, they have very different agendas. Olive has her favorite house to visit. They have flowers she likes to smell and she always leaves a message for whatever dog lives there or nearby. Ivy doesn’t really care, but she’s all into the swampy patch beyond while Olive prefers to avoid the bugs there. Ivy is all about the birds. I think she could jump straight up into the air and catch one if one got close enough. Olive likes the chipmunks, though she doesn’t chase. She just gives them the stink-eye until they scurry off. Both of them were very interested in the mail truck but neither wanted to bother it. They both did all their business and got cookies at the end as a reward! 🍪
