We were so excited when Penny arrived for her staycation with us for a week! She made herself at home within minutes! She ran right to the toy basket and started playing with them. She likes the ones with the squeakers the best! We gave her the tour of the house and made sure she knew where the best places to sit by the windows to watch the world outside. She even brought one of her new toy friends “The Shark” to join her in her new favorite perch! We went for a nice walk so she could sniff around and and read the local pee-mails and say hi to the neighbors. She is such a happy pup, always up for playtime as well. When it was bedtime we tried her crate but I think she was just too excited. She was whining and barking so of course being the softies we are, we brought her up to bed with us. She was not too much of a bed hog at first and spent most of the time sleeping on the floor next to the bed. This morning was a different story. She decided that my pillow and my head were the comfiest spot of all! This made me giggle for sure! She is lucky she is so cute!!! 🤣❤️ We have plans to go for a hike with another puppy friend named Oliver today! I think they will be fast friends!!! Alex and I are so excited for all the adventures we will have this week with sweet Penny!
