We couldn’t have been happier to see sweet Lucy when she arrived yesterday for a few nights stay with us! She took no time to make her self at home and demanded many walks around the neighborhood to catch up on all the local gossip! Last night we settled down after a full day of fun and cuddle under blankies and watched silly tv until we fell fast asleep! . This morning she woke up excited for a snow day! Our morning walk had no snow but it was frosty and still fun to run on the crunchy grass. Sadly the snow only lasted a few minutes before it turned to slush so on our walks, we played in the slush puddles and chased sticks. She didn’t seem to bummed about it. She lived just frolicking around being silly! But our paws got cold so we headed inside for some indoor playtime and to thaw our paws. She decided she wanted to play tug with her favorite toy. We played until she got all tuckered out and is now taking a nap on my lap all warm and cozy under a blanket. Not sure what our after dinner plans are but I have a feeling it will involve more snuggles and soggy walkies. Can’t wait to spend the day with my furry friend again tomorrow.
