With rides, a trip to her own back yard, a walk in the rain, and the non-stop playing, Maddie was pretty spun out by the end of the day. She was amazing during dinner, from trying to help cook and stealing some counter-cheese 😂 to lying quietly and patiently under the table while we ate. She had already eaten her own dinner, and was hoping for some cookies for desert (we keep them on the table so she feels like we’re sharing our food with her). There were zoomies and play after dinner, but she got so worked up she started cheating and using her teeth. She quickly earned a time out, but when we came to let her out a few minutes later she was already fast asleep. Big day for such a little girl! We went out this morning for our usual stroll and she was rested and in a good mood. It’s going to be rainy all week so less outside time for her will challenge us to find creative ways to occupy her time inside.
