When a dog is raised in a human family, they have no reason to think they are any different than any other member of the family. So when they see us use shoes, remotes, napkins, they want to know what they’re for and how they use them. It’s hard to explain that napkins are for everyone else to put in their mouths but not them! Maddy is intensely curious and smart. And she learns quickly. But that’s not to say there isn’t a mischievous side that just wants to play. So, we went on walks, go for rides, and bought her lots of toys to occupy her busy mind. She is a kid after all!
