Maddy wants to see it all

Maddy was delighted to see me as usual – what a sweet and affectionate pup she is! I think she’d be happy to just sit there and have me pet her the entire time. But it was both too hot and too boring to do nothing else. We played fetch a bit, and then she wanted to go in her hobbit hole. She came out and wanted to see if the pool was any more relief. Spoiler: it was not. After that she was totally bored with her area and wanted to explore the front yard. We check out the grass, then the flowers, and next thing you know we were taking a walk down your road. And while Maddy was excited about that, the lack of shade along the path had us quickly turning around and heading back. There was no place that was the right place for her today, but she seemed happy as long as we were both there. 🥰
