Some new friends showed up today and the feathered kids all had their individual takes on them. Splinter had her initial doubts but a NutriBerry put her mind at easy while she supervised the filling of her food and the cleaning of her tray. Such a curious girl, she wanted to make friends but was shy about it. She talked up a storm though, showing off her words and sometimes dances. 🥰 Gizmo was his usual quarrelsome self but he really appreciated the cage cleaning, so much so that he was happy to call a truce to the pecking and biting when someone needed to reach deep inside to clear the tray. By the end it was more a game than actual trying, and he munched on his own berry quite satisfied. 😁 Itsy and Bitsy were naturally terrified the whole time, keeping their distance and their own company. Their food and water and tray got changed quickly so as not to bother them too much. I did notice Bitsy finally started using her other leg for perching so maybe that’s a good sign. I know soon we will all be great friends, and I think at least some of them suspect the same. 😊
