We had barely gotten on the road when we heard barking behind us – the two big cul-de-sac dogs! Julian of course returned in kind, so we hurried ahead of them to put some distance between us. We left them behind us but we must have set a very hurried pace because we were long past our normal turnaround point before it was time. Of course Julian was in a hurry to get home as always so we made great time the other way as well.
