Tonks and Willow did great with the e-collars outside in that I never even had a reason to reach for them. Neither seemed interested in running away from the cookie man. Well, Willow did try at first, when I first arrived. But once running back to Tracey wasn’t an option, some patience and treats coaxed her outside just fine. There were lots of practice games for yes, sit, down, and wait. Willows favorite game was sniffing out the treats on the ground and Tonks just loved being included. When we got back inside Willow let me take her collar off without too much hesitation. She was getting quite close to me during training but still showed no interest in being pet, so I kept my hands to myself.
