Moose has a love hate relationship with the water along our path. There are small streams, marshes, and huge ponds. These fascinate Moose but the wildlife inside them is like aliens from another planet to him. He watched a bug plop across the top of the water with no less incredulity than someone watching Jesus do the same. It may not have been a religious experience for Moose, but with his intellect, it was certainly a philosophical one.
