Nova was all about the couch last night as we put in a show and snuggled under a blanket. She was content to lie there, get pet occasionally, and just enjoy the feeling of fullness after dinner. We woke up early and enjoyed the morning quiet outside. She got a piece of bacon after breakfast and this time she left all my fingers in place 😆 We wandered around the yard for a bit, just for a change of scenery and there was a very interesting scent trail she wanted to follow. We stayed close to the house. Good thing too, because not long after we settled in she spied a flock of turkeys outside! She made sure they knew the house was under HER protection, and they moved along promptly. I feel very safe with her but my side! 🥰
