Duke absolutely refused to come for a walk today. After I let them out I’m the back yard, plopped in the couch and said, no thanks, the rain makes my hips hurt. I reasoned and negotiated to no avail. But when Dixie gave him THAT look before we headed out without him, he got right up and got dressed! But once he went there was no stopping him or Dixie. There was wildlife everywhere! First they chased a chipmunk into a rock wall. Then they caught scent of a bunny and followed it all around. They didn’t see the clever bunny hop away quietly behind them. 😂 What they did manage to catch at the end was plenty of sweet rain-filled grass. You wouldn’t think that was the best part of the walk, but Duke insisted it was worth getting off the couch. 🥰
