I showed up right after Sean left and Jasper was wound up. It took awhile for him to settle but not as long as last time. But he just wouldn’t hold still for the harness so I left. Out both doors, all the way to the car while he watches… I came back and we went through the whole routine again, this time with a bit less clowning. He was great about waiting before going through doors, and generally great staying within 4 feet with voice guidance only. So good in fact, we had time to play in the leaves. Taking the time to let him work out his excitement let us have a much more productive conversation about manners for the rest of the visit. 🥰
