Settling in with Jax and Hazyl. Both ate their supper well and Hazyl went out shortly after to do all her business. Jax was somewhat reluctant to join us. I am giving him a little time to adjust to having me around. We will try again in a little while. He is sitting beside me as I write and letting me pet him so I’m sure he will soon brave going out – or maybe he just doesn’t want to get his paws wet in the rain? I heard Basement Rooster calling out “hellooooo!” when I arrived and the outside team were milling about when Hazyl and I were out. All settling in for our first PJ party on the homefront!

Yay! I’m sure they’re so happy somebody is there with them. Sometimes Jax doesn’t like the rain, but he will definitely go out after dinner, that’s usually part of his routine. Hazyl sometimes will go upstairs and lay by herself but feel free to try and entice her to hang with the group. That’s Fred and Winnie down stairs! Hopefully they don’t disturb you too much. We just made bacon earlier today in the fridge and there are fresh eggs. Help yourself to whatever you want in the fridge/kitchen. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.
