Walking around the neighborhood with Aneto always gets the same joke: nice polar bear you got there! 😂
And honestly, if we hosted a polar bear cub I don’t think it would be that much different. Both can accidentally knock over the entire couch while playing. Both can accidentally step on your foot or lovingly paw at you and do damage. Both can pull with the force of a hemi ‘cuda. 🏎️ Both are as cute and cuddly and sweet as can be, and only want to be loved, held, petted, and played with. Aneto may look scary to some, but he is a lap dog at heart. We would spend an hour laying still next to the couch while I just slowly brushed his luxuriant fur. And then he would hear something and it would be off to the window or back door to bark at a passerby, whine at a dog, or menace a bunny getting too close. It was Easter, and HE was the only one allowed to be the Easter bunny! 🐰 His stay was long enough to fall in love all over again, and then much too short as we took him home.
I can’t wait until this polar bear heads north again! 🥰
